30 January 1905 charged with stealing small items from an auction room. Pleaded guilty. Discharged on condition that he return to the home of his parents. Jeannie CAIRNS went into the Salvation Army Home.
2 May 1905 Remanded until 5 May with different aliases on a charge of stealing a quantity of lead valued at 10 pounds.
20 March 1909 charged with breaking and entering the boarding house of J.B. CUNNINGHAM. Stole jewellery. William AUTON pleaded guilty.
11 May 1909 William AUTON charged with having in December with stealing jewellery from William and Beatrice TOO FEE in 1907. The house was ransacked while stealing the jewellery. William AUTON was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment.
